About The Lawrecetown Surfdown
Since 2003 the Lawrencetown Surfdown has brought paddlers together from different regions to enjoy the world class surf that Nova Scotia possesses and to compete in a fun atmosphere.
This year there will be an added twist. The 2008 Lawrencetown Surfdown will also be host to the Canada East Surf Kayak Team Trials. There will be competitors competing for consideration to represent Canada in the 2009 World Surf Kayak Championships being held in Portugal.
The Surfdown will be the same as the years prior however it will reserve time for Canadian Team Trial heats for each division.
Everyone is encouraged to participate from beginners to advance. It is free to compete.
